Hi team GMap.Net I wonder if now is a mechanism for integrating the component within the Asp.Net technology now does not exist, have thought in the near future to introduce support for asp.net?

the only thing you can do now is to generate static maps of wanted area

Why would you want to use it in ASP?

Defeats the whole purpose.

Would Gmap not be suitable to use on a website then?

Gmap.net is designed for Windows Forms and Windows Presentation Foundation but not ASP.Net.

My question originally was focused on whether they were thinking in future work on a version Asp.NET, but apparently no such version is planned, (if I'm lying please correct my information)

Now TeflonTed to achieve something similar to what it offers but in a GMAP.Net
Asp.NET web environment you can use several alternatives.

1 -) The APIs directly Gmaps
2 -) Google Maps API 3 Visual Studio Intellisense Helper (Project on Codeplex
http://gmapvsdoc.codeplex.com)
3 -) Google Map control (codeplex project of http://googlemap.codeplex.com)

Gmap.Net is focused for now just a WinForms and WPF

Option 3 seems the most suitable, but GMAP.Net is perfect in environments with WPF or WinForms

IF you want Google as a control in ASP then this is what you want

http://en.googlemaps.subgurim.net/

I've use it before and it works well.
