Using GMap.NET dll in Microsoft Access?

Can GMap.NET be used on an Microsoft Access form? Trying to add a reference to GMap.NET.Core.dll through the VBA code menu failed. regsrv32 and regasm from the command line fail to register the DLL.

GMap.NET is simply .NET control, ..i never tried that, but why do you need that at all, just create some win form, drop control ad use it

My project was initially to be based entirely in Access -- it is a database project.  But the need for mapping on the form lead me to find GMap.NET.  I may have to recast the project as something to be done in VS, ie "create win form and drop the control."  Thanks.
