First …..Congratulation for this magnify project.

I’m evaluating Gmap to routing fire trucks in a google map.

The gps truck use old UTM coordinates, Zone 30, ed50, EPSG:23030.

How can I convert this coordinates to Google coordinates WGS84.

Something like this:

283539, 4821745, 30 >-----> 43.65456565, -5.6787878

 I try to adapt this code but fail:

 public void FromCartesianTGeodetic(double X, double Y, double Z, out double Lat, out double Lng)

 Is possible using gmap library?

Many thanks and sorry for my bad English.

you can use http://dotspatial.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=DotSpatial.Projections&referringTitle=Home to convert coordinates from any to any system

Hi jcferalva.

I have tried the dotspatial library but my region (Cape Town, South Africa)  doesn't transform well.
The zones for my convertion is Hartebeesthoek 1994 ( EPSG: 2048) to WGS 1984 (EPSG: 4326).

I tried everything but found nothing that works.
I stubled apon a company eye4software that has a GPS toolkit made especially for this.
It costs EUR 149 and it can even read a GPS unit for its info.

PM me if you need code samples.
