The GMap.Net is a great development. I'm planning to use the component i a public Windows form application and have tried to read about licencing criteria on this website. All previously discussions talking about Googgle license. I persume that Google Maps API are implemented in GMap.Net   Is this right?

As I have read that, Google also allow usage of Google Map API in Windows forms application as long as the application are available for download to public and promoted through a public website. This solution doesn't require a Google Map API Premium licence, and is free.

But what about changing

gmap.MapType = MapType.YahooHybrid
or
gmap.MapType = MapType.BingHybrid

Does that use another API and other licencing rules respectively from Yahoo and Bing (Microsoft)?

Does this mean that GMap.Net are in use when gmap.type=GoogleHybrid?

and GMap.Net use Bing Maps APIs when gmap.type=BingHybrid?

and GMap.Net use Yahoo Map AS3 when gmap.type=YahooHybrid?

No, GMap.NET doesn't use any (Javascript) API, it gets the map-tiles directly from the servers, that makes it so cool and fast and unfortunately not exactly legal in the sense of Google & Co.... :-(
