Hi GMap.Net- Users,

I am new to this very great Component.

Unfortunately, I am not getting the demo and the .Net Components to run as I expected.

I always get this error regardless which tileprovider I use. (The message gets drawn on every tile with a blue background)

Exception: The remotename could not be resolved : xyz.everytileproviderIchoose.com

I think there is something wrong in generall that does not have to do with the GMap-Controls.

You have to know that I am working for a company and that pc is in that company-network. But if my company blocks that requets (maybe??) is that true for every mapprovider???

Any hints? I also searched the discussions and not found any related problems so I think I am the only one O_o?

Many thanks in advance.

The answer is:

 GMapProvider.WebProxy = WebRequest.GetSystemWebProxy();
 GMapProvider.WebProxy.Credentials = CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials;

It was really the Proxy of my company.

Anyway, thanks alot for this great component.
