run the demo, prefetch your area in the cache menu, use it ;}

what you say is correct.

My applications requirement is to use maps offline without internet connection.

but this cache will be only available on one machine and you have to have prefetch the area.

Now what should i do if i want the same thing to get done when i transfer this application on the machine which don't have internet connection?

is there anyway to set and get the cache of the folder sot that i can copy the images... and take it with my application to other machine?

just copy/paste cache folder

thanks for such a great answer.

as i also have found the cache folder source.

this folder is only 262MB.

now this maybe not the cache of whole the country (e.g UK) on every zoom level. Am i right?

do i have to manually zoom on every level so that i have every point on each zoom level?

IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO DO THAT?

because when i plug out my internet cable i don't see the map at every zoom level

thanks

after setting the CacheLocation to C:\test

Data.gmdb is still created in C:\Users\..\AppData\Local\GMap.NET\TileDBv5\en

and it is also present in C:\test

why is that so?

and what is System.Data.SQLite.DLL inside DllCache\SQLite_v74_NET4_x86 while it is not present in C:\test

And also the size of the Data.gmdb doesn't exceed more than 262336  KB why?

thanks

use latest hot build version

p.s. again for caching: "run the demo, prefetch your area in the cache menu, use it ;}"

as i am sitting behind proxy so i cann't access the maps.

Use Proxy Setting -> Watch Demo

now my question is ... why is my Data.gmdb is not getting larger in size when i zoom in-and-out on different point...?

it does. (256MB was a bug in older version, in new Version Data.gmdb is smaller and grows with new tiles)

and also please explain the System.Data.SQLite.DLL do i need that? what is that doing there?

The map is stored in a sqlite database, for using it, you need this dll. is located in your applicationfolder of gmap
