Looking at the WindowsPresentation demo...it has no reference to SQLite or SQLCE. Also, the demo project has no Conditional compilation symbols, whereas the Windows demo specifies MONO_disabled; SQLite.

Which compilation symbols should I be using, if any? When looking in "References" folder in the Silverlight directory ("which i am assuming is also WPF), there are no dll's. I would prefer to not include any other 3rd party DLL's, is this possible?

As a WPF developer, is WindowsPresentation the correct library to use? Which caching method is ideal?

With no compilation symbols, it runs fine on my developer machine, but when I try it on a laptop the map is tiled with the error:

Exception: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SqlServerCe'

Hence my confusion!

Edit: I should add that I am including the WindowsPresentation source in my own source, not including a compiled DLL.

if you remove 'SQLite', core dll use mssqlce reference
