Map tiles not showing after ZoomAndCenterMarkers

It was working, however I don't know if it's related to Windows 8, but after I do the MainMap.ZoomAndCenterMarkers(Nothing), the markers show on the screen however the map tiles do not. I tried all the different map providers. Before the function, I can move and zoom in and out of the map.

I tried different builds but to no avail. Is anyone else having this issue?

I created a new form and getting the same results.. Here is my code. It zooms in but the map tiles just turn white. If I move the map around I see brief flashes of blue tile. This is happening on two different Windows 8 machines. Going to try it on a Windows 7 machine. Here is my code:
Imports System.Windows.Forms
Imports GMap.NET
Imports GMap.NET.WindowsForms
Imports GMap.NET.WindowsForms.Markers
Imports GMap.NET.WindowsForms.ToolTips
Imports GMap.NET.MapProviders

Public Class Test
    Public overlayOne As New GMapOverlay

    Private Sub Test_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
        MainMap.MapProvider = GMapProviders.GoogleMap
        MainMap.MaxZoom = 17
        MainMap.MinZoom = 1
        MainMap.Zoom = 4
        MainMap.Position = New PointLatLng(39.605612582602, -83.233154296875)
        GMap.NET.GMaps.Instance.Mode = GMap.NET.AccessMode.ServerOnly
    End Sub

    Private Sub Button1_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
        overlayOne.Markers.Add(New GMap.NET.WindowsForms.Markers.GMarkerGoogle(New PointLatLng(-76.7953029, 40.8937513),
        overlayOne.Markers(overlayOne.Markers.Count - 1).Tag = "Marker 1"
    End Sub
End Class
