Visual Basic.NET 2008

Jan 17, 2010 at 1:10 AM

Hi,

I cant get the gmap.net dll to work in in Visual Basic .net 2008 I had tried the following

- Draging & dropping both GMap.NET.WindowsPresentation.dll & GMap.NET.Core.dll onto my form

- Draging & dropping both GMap.NET.WindowsPresentation.dll & GMap.NET.Core.dll onto my toolbox

- Adding GMap.NET.WindowsPresentation.dll & GMap.NET.Core.dll as a reference

The GMap.net only seems to work in Visual C#.NET 2008 and not VB.NET 2008.

How can I get it to work in VB.NET 2008?

Thanks,

Alex

so why you try to use wpf version dll?

I worked it out

Right click on the toolbox and click choose items then browse to and add GreatMapsAPI\Demo.WindowsForms\bin\Debug\GMap.NET.WindowsForms.dll

I didn't know there were different versions, the demo only includes the WPF, if you download the whole package you get the above file.

...actually there are 3 public demos in download page(wpf, windows forms, windows forms for MONO), and there is 4 demo for windows mobile, but only in svn
