Windows 2008 Server R2 x64 - Problem

Aug 9, 2010 at 7:44 AM

- Using GMap ver 23f575a70f8d

- Wrote my own cache routine (so I can remove SQLite reference)(uploaded for 1 week at

- Developer computer WinXP sp3 - latest fixes

- Test computer Windows 2008 Server R2 x64

- Removed SQLite reference

1. Compiled targeted for x86 (works great on both machines WinXP and Win2008).

2. Compiled targeted for Any CPU (works great on WinXP but not on Win2008): Program opens, load from 10-20 tiles than it looks like the tile fetching routing hangs up. No new tiles are loaded.

3. Compiled targeted for x64 (doesn't work on Win2008): same as before

Any idea?

hey ;}

i love this issue ;] ..again, sqlite works perfect on both targets(just use x86 sqlite dll{it's by default} and set x86 target -> works on any machines, or use x64 dll and set target to x64 -> works on x64 machines),

but if you don't need it's kiberspeed(it's sad decision ;/), then you can remove 'SQLite' from conditional symbol and the engine will use MSsqlCE and it works on AnyCPU target

I did kill it, but still got problems ;)

My cache routine (my test shows same speed), removed SQLite, ... still no luck.

Any ideas ?
