I'm a very beginner with great maps in vb.net
I'd like to zoom on the map by drawing a rectangle. Is there a specific function for that, or do I have a to deal with mousedown, mousedrag and mouseup?
Thanks for the answer.

Thanks for your answer,

But I would like to use it without having to hold the shift button.

In my application, I have differents pointing modes. When the user has to select something on the map, the left button will handle a selection.

Otherwise, it will zoom by dragging, but without having to hold down the shit button.

I'll try tomorow.

PS: Sorry for my english, I hope youcan  understand me.

Yes, ok for the shit (or shift ;) button), but I would like to do it without having to hold down the shift button, directly by dragging.

Thanks for your answer. That means I have to catch the mouseDown event, draw rectangle as the mouse drag (with mouseDragEvent) and zoom once the mouseUp is raised, or is there a simpler way?

you can delete the check which requires holding shift ;}
