Using Enterprise maps, location problems

I am using a Google Enterprise server to serve maps in the GMap application.  It all visually looks good, however have noticed that the Latitude value for the centre of the map is incorrect.

When I paste the Lat/Long given to me by the info panel in GMap into Google Maps within my browser (also pointing to the Google Enterprise server), it centres in a different place.

Is this a projection problem?  Only latitude seems to be incorrect.

hm, maybe it uses slightly different projection, how much does it differs?

OK, there is definately a projection difference. It looks like it is using a mercator projection...
