Hi all,

Did someone have a look to http://marine.geogarage.com/routes

The maritime maps are available on a tile server.

Sure lot of GMap.NET users would be interested.

Any thoughts?

hey, nice maps, many of them are only available in paid version, but there are some free!

You will need to login for UK, Canada, Australia, France

The others are free

It is a huge work they did to convice the map makers to agree to publish on the web... even if the user needs to pay something (9,90€ a month)

If GMap.NET could be compatible with that...................

it is ;} what's the algorithm?

no idea... that's the reason of my post... maybe we will find clever people to find the algorithm.

is there a chance that they give you (as the designer of GMap.NET) the algorithm? I can find their details if you wish...

Cont5acted him previously, He uses an encrypted time scheme, which he is not willing to divulge, even to paying customers to the service, so in effect he is saying use his system or go find the maps elesewhere.

Hello SE and CodeNoBug,

Thanks for your interest in our Marine GeoGarage nautical charts platform.

For info, we have some B2B license which allow to share the PUBLIC charts for applications developed by other companies or people.

You can contact me by E-mail for pricing.

Regarding some charts layers (UK, Canada, Australia, France), the license we sign with the national Hydrographic Offices don't allow us to propose these layers for applications other than the one developed by our company.

Best regards.
