Can i use Gmap.NET within MVVM WPF application architecture?

Hello, i am new in WPF, at this moment i am not have complete realized WPF applications.
At now i am research the best approach to build WPF application. MVVM looks like the most attractive.

My goal is realize WPF application with displaying markers and other data on the map. GMap.NET looks at the best solution. But at now i ask you to define for me, as a beginner, can i beautifully and without rake use Gmap.NET control within MVVM application?

Thank you, and sorry for very beginner level question. BUt i am beginner in WPF.

WPF is already MVVM, the View is your xaml, the Controler is the code, and the model is EF

But Gmap.NET control has a classic events, but how to handle GMap.NET events with MVVM model?

events are part of controller, like requests in the web app

You could create a behaviour to all you to bind commands to events.
