Cache Database

Thanks for such a cool project! It's making my life so much easier.

Would it be possible to use an external sql database i.e. mysql to store and retreve the tile cache? I would like to be able to implement a group of local clients to access a db server for a shared cache.

Thanks again

yea, but it's now configured as only sqlite db, so you have manualy change sources, or wait for the other db privider support

i think it's time today to do some things on this direction ;}

then let me also add a sugestion.

I have a property  (CacheLocation)  to allow the location of the cache to be changed.  So on a network, the cache can point to a shared location  rather than the local users application data. Maybe you could add that to your standard release.

sqlite isn't desinged to be on the network server, what we need is abstraction of data base, so any can create their own cache in any server of type

any volunteers to test new abstract cache functionality? ;}
