GoogleSatellite no longer works

Hi,

Is it possible that the GoogleSatellite could no longer work??  Everything else works fine.  I know if you use their imagery on a website, you need a special key to get it to work.  Could it be that they are blocking imagery to my IP address??  Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Is there a work-around for this?  I've seen some posts for the  'proxy' on here.  Will that solve this problem?  Whenever I try it, then nothing works, but maybe I am just using it wrong.

Hi,

It seems to be working again.  Why does this happen?  Is there a way to avoid it?  Do you know if the same thing will happen with YahooSatellite or VirtualEarthSatellite??

BTW:  I always have it set to ServerAndCache.

Thanks

cache your area, and use it, if you reach limit, you can try to use proxy, or swith to other map type
