Aug 26, 2009 at 10:28 AM

I have tried GMap.NET several times but its not working.

I have created a gmap control named gmapcontrol1.

Code used for this project.

            gMapControl1.MapType = MapType.GoogleSatellite;
            gMapControl1.MaxZoom = 13;
            gMapControl1.MinZoom = 1;
            gMapControl1.Zoom = 5;

it shows a blank map

well demos are exactly for and only for that ;}

Aug 26, 2009 at 11:05 AM

            gMapControl1.MapType = MapType.GoogleMap;
            gMapControl1.MaxZoom = 13;
            gMapControl1.MinZoom = 1;
            gMapControl1.Zoom = 5;

            gMapControl1.CurrentPosition = new PointLatLng(22.3, 88.5);

Is this correct code.

should I need to set any property of gMapControl1. Because gMapControl1 should fetch maps from google map right.

pls help me...........

I am trying it again and again but it is not working.........

Hi Radioman.

Could you please post the code or the demo? I have some poblems with GMap - the map is not blank but it says "We are sorry we don't have imagery at this level fot this region". However, the demo project I have downloaded with the libraries works good. The way I ty to run the map is (after placing it on the canvas):

this.gMapControl1.MapType = GMap.NET.MapType.GoogleMap;
this.gMapControl1.MinZoom = 1;
this.gMapControl1.MaxZoom = 5;
this.gMapControl1.Zoom = 5;
this.gMapControl1.CurrentPosition = new GMap.NET.PointLatLng(53.6961334816182, 17.2985095977783);

I would be very grateful for any suggerstions.

First of all, thank you for such a quick response.

I am affraid the link above doesn't work. Nevertheless I have successfully run the project. Somehow one of the dlls did not overwrite the previous one.

Best regards,
